Vestergaard Marine Service A/S in Frederikshavn wins the Initiative price 2009 instituted by The Confederation of Danish Industry (DI)
Profit every year and a constant increase of the work force. These are rare results for a Danish company in these days. But that is actually what the winner of the Initiative price 2009 instituted by The Confederation of Danish Industry has achieved.
The award was presented at the DI conference on January 14th by His Royal Highness Prince Joachim.
Vestergaard Marine Service A/S won the award in competition with 17 other growth-companies from across Denmark, as the company since its inception in 2003 with 3 employees has grown to now close to 100 employees. Simultaneously with this impressive growth, the company has been able to show a profit every year since its establishment.
VMS A/S is a highly specialized company within repair and maintenance of diesel engines on marine and offshore installations as well as power plants
VMS A/S is situated on the harbour of Frederikshavn – one of the busiest ports of Denmark - in the northern of Denmark, close to the highway system, airport and ferry-routes to Sweden and Norway.
